My Project

So many of my students don't feel like traditional sports are for them. They think they are too old to learn a sport that other kids have been playing for years or they don't feel athletically inclined. It's important for them to realize there are a variety of non-traditional sports and games out there that they can enjoy playing while building social connections.

You're never to old to have fun and learn something new!

These activities will not only offer physical exercise, they will help students gain confidence and develop social skills that come with teamwork or simply competing against someone else. They will also open up their eyes to a world of non-traditional sports, which may inspire them to see what else is out there.

It is my sincere hope that with these supplies I can start an after school club for my students and introduce them to some fun activities to get them active and thinking outside the box about athletic opportunities available to them.
