My Project

This project will give my students meaningful interactions with STEM-forward, non-fiction text--including cookbooks, dinosaur books, books from The Science Comics series (a very well done series on scientific and engineering topics) and FACTopia books (a fun, graphic series on history, science and secrets), to stretch their minds and perspectives.

My students love reading, and to stay excited about reading takes books.

This project of over 30 books will be just the ticket to keep us excited. I know that the cookbooks and graphic novels will be very engaging to my students and get them to think more about math, science and engineering. I can't wait!
