My Project

Please consider helping me turn my classroom into a more inviting place in which to learn by donating to purchase fluorescent light coverings that will not only reduce harmful glare and eye strain but also provide calm, comfort, and inspiration.

Many of our students, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorder (SPD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other sensory sensitivities, may be negatively affected by traditional fluorescent lighting.

Harsh, flickering white light can cause distraction and even physical discomfort for some students, hindering their ability to focus and engage in learning activities effectively.

To address this challenge and create a more inclusive learning environment, I am seeking funding to acquire "blue sky and white cloud" magnetic lighting covers that will create a more calming environment, reduce glare, and promote focus and concentration.

I am excited about the potential impact of this project on my students because I have seen the benefits of nice light coverings in other classroom and counseling spaces at our school site. Your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, helping to create a more inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all.
