My Students

My students are hard working and inspired to make their ambitions come true. As most school districts, we lack funds to be able to provide students with the materials they need to be successful in the 21st century. Third graders get excited when they see their success with different materials such as math manipulatives and technology. To see their faces light up as they are figuring out new concepts and life is exciting.

Teachers at my school are motivated by the success of all students both academically and in preparing them for life.

Our school currently serves K-3 students with rigorous academics. I am a part of a teacher culture that is driven to inspire the minds of young people.

My Project

My students need access to technology for many different aspects in the classroom. During the year, students complete projects such as Power Points, Posters from research projects, published pieces and much more. Students also need to research and use educational websites to enhance their learning.

We live in a technology world and all students need to be able to have the same opportunities as other students of schools with technology access.

My class is able to share laptops with the rest of the school on a check out basis. This is difficult when there are over 300 students with 32 laptops to share. My students need to have regular access to technology to be able to create and learn.
