My students need warm winter coats as part of their life's essentials supplies, for our cold and wet winter.

My Students

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

The majority of my students are poverty stricken and have not been dealt the best hand in life.

They are the students that want to get ahead in life, want to make a better future for themselves but need every bit of help they can get. My students are the ones that come to school hungry and not always dressed for the weather. They are the students that although they do not have much, are grateful for what they do have and appreciative of what is given to them. They are the students, that if given the chance and the life essentials to thrive, will make the world a better place.

My Project

My students will use the winter coats to keep warm and dry during our cold, wet winter months. Students that come to school without basic life's essentials, such as warm jackets, are often miserable with how cold they are and are more likely to get sick. A happy, healthy student is a student ready and willing to learn!

Donations to this project will enable me to give each of my students a brand new, warm winter coat so that they can stay warm and dry during this winter season (and hopefully the next)!

The students will not have to come to school cold, wet and sick, allowing them to focus on their studies.
