My Project

Last school year, students were excited and interested in learning pickleball during PE. Students were disappointed to learn that we do not currently have the equipment for this. Specifically, we need pickleball paddles to make this possible.

Having pickleball paddles will allow learning opportunities for all students to develop skills to work as a team, learn social responsibility, and sportsmanship.

My students are very capable of exploring new activities and it is not fair to them that they miss out on opportunities because we don't have the equipment. They are deserving, hard-working, and love to have fun. I firmly believe that it is okay to not be good at a new skill right away. It is okay to make mistakes as long as you try your best! I want to provide them the chance to make mistakes in our controlled, supportive environment so that they can learn and grow to their full potential!
