My Project

Many scholars come to school hungry . Some families are struggling with the cost of food. Because the scholar may be hungry they can not focus and have low energy. This can lead them to not being able to compete assignments. They can become agitated and shut down to learning

When the proper snacks are available to scholars this is one less distraction to learning when a scholar is hungry

A few snacks can change the direction in which the scholar may be going.

Studies have shown that scholars who eat snacks can improve their attention. Snacks can also boost energy levels if the blood sugar drops.

Since many of our high school scholars are also athletes their days are often longer and they need additional energy boosters. They are sometimes at chool before the school day starts and they are there after the school day has ended.

The high schools scholars may sometimes be embarrass to let their fellow classmates know their circumstances , but will go to a trusted teacher and they can help the scholar with a quick snack and it can make the difference. The snacks will ensue if students are hungry, they know where to to come and get a snack.
