My Project

I teach a third-grade class with many English language learners. My students speak Russian, Ukrainian, Haitian-Creole, Polish, and Spanish at home. Several of my students have been in the country for a year or less.

I like to use lots of different centers and games for practice in in all subject areas.

Every game or center requires some sort of storage - up til now my "go to" has been ziploc bags... but they just don't last.

I would like to stop using single-use plastics in my classroom as much as possible. I am requesting mesh zip bags in different sizes to store games, centers, manipulatives, etc. These will last longer and be sturdier (and nicer looking) than ziploc bags. I am also requesting write and wipe dry erase pockets and photo albums to insert task cards and flash cards. All of these items will replace baggies and also reduce the amount of copies and paper needed.
