My Students

I work in a very diverse school that services students who have a variety of needs in the suburbs of Harrisburg. Our district is very large and it can be challenging to make sure all of the students needs are met. I work with regular education and special education students who have a variety of academic, behavioral, and social needs.

Along with having high needs behaviorally and academically, my students come from very diverse backgrounds which makes the day very fun and interesting.

It can be very challenging but it is very rewarding and keeps me on my toes!

My Project

When anyone is hungry they struggle to focus and do their best work and teenagers are no exception! Please help me support my students by having snacks in the classroom that I can provide to them on days when breakfast or lunch wasn't quite enough. The teacher pay teachers gift cards will help me with finding materials that are interesting and engaging for my students and save me time to focus on other things.

This project is all about self-care for my students and myself.

The snacks will help them focus and the gift cards will make my life easier. Thank you for taking the time to consider donating!
