My Students

My students walk into the classroom every morning eager to learn. They love and crave the structure of the everyday routine. When I see their smiling faces in the morning it reminds me of why I got into teaching in the first place. They have a genuine love of learning when it's fun and interesting.

My students are like little sponges soaking up any and all information they can.

My goal is for each student to leave my classroom with the knowledge they need for the next year! Each student is unique and their learning styles vary, but that makes my job that much more exciting!

My Project

When the new school year starts, every student wants to start the year off with new supplies. They come with backpacks, paper, pencils, notebooks, and pencil boxes. These new supplies create an exciting atmosphere and with that can come many new distractions. They love to show off their materials to each other as they get ready to learn in their new environment. A backpack cart is the perfect way to lessen these daily distractions.

An organized classroom is a successful classroom.

I am a firm believer that students learn better when there are less distractions. Having a place to store their backpack properly will help them keep their focus on their work and will also keep the classroom organized and clean. I chose this particular backpack cart because it keeps all of the backpacks in one area and out of the walkways inside the classroom. There isn't enough space in our classroom for them to store their things and it becomes a safety hazard when their backpacks are all over the floor. This will alleviate the problem by allowing the students to store their backpack in the same spot every day. I feel it will make a wonderful addition to the classroom and will make the students happy to have a safe place to store their things.
