My Students

Two of my three classes includes special needs students. Disabilities range from dyslexia to language impairment. Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend, and our school also has over 70% free or reduced-priced lunches.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.

I want to help them stay organized and control of their own learning.

My Project

We are in tough times where social distancing is a MUST. More often than not, students "forget" to charge their iPads at night and come to school with a dead battery and making it difficult to complete the necessary schoolwork. In my classroom, we have 4 outlets, and it isn't easy to have students move around to sit near outlets and keep 6ft from other students. By having a portable charger bank, they can seamlessly continue their work on the iPad and stay at their desks. This will help each day tremendously!
