My Students

What is a bully? How do bullies act? How can I stand up to a bully? These are the questions that I would like to bring to my 24 kindergarten students.

Our school is located in California and is classified as a low-income inner city school.

My 24 kindergarten students are always willing to accept and achieve any goals set in front of them regardless of any obstacles they face inside and outside of the classroom. Some people might call my students "at risk" but they are still just children with nothing but hope and promise. Such resolve and dedication is exemplified by my students to want to be an active learner admits the sirens from police cars and other emergency vehicles and occasional school lockdowns.

My Project

With the requested resources, I will be able to run a more accepting, safe, and engaging learning environment. The books entitled "Ant and the Big Bad Bully Goat" and "Billy Bully" will educate students on ways to deal with bullies. These stories will help connect the students with valuable tools and insight on how to deal with a very important issue they my encounter throughout their lives. These books will help foster acceptance and empower students with the tools to create a bully free classroom and playground. The knowledge they gain from these books will follow them on their journey to first grade and beyond. The laminator and pouches will assist me in preserving my students' work and other important documents. The magnets will enable me to display educational posters and student work on our magnetic board.
