Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are composed of individuals who rise to the occasion. Although they are curious, hardworking, and cooperative individuals they continue to face many educational obstacles one year after the start of the pandemic.

The current school year has been very challenging for all, but it is my middle schoolers who have endure the most.

Often the root of the problem has been frustration with learning new technology compounded with not having adequate tools to transition into remote learning. Regardless, their intrinsic motivation and my long lesson planning has made it possible to see everyone gradually grow emotionally and academically.

As the end of the year approaches, I want to continue helping all my students successfully finish their first remote learning school year. With your generous donation I hope to achieve a better audio experience for all my students.

My Project

Now that video conferencing is a common activity for young learners and educators, I want to provide my student with the best audio experience possible. Remote learning has its share of problems. From below average internet bandwidth to inadequate technology components, the list is endless.

Have you ever been in a video conference and found yourself distracted by the presenters keyboard clicks?

Or how about the background noise of family members and pets. This microphone will enable me to deliver better quality daily lessons to my students, and reduce the number of distraction during video conferencing.
