My Project

This project aims to provide middle school students the resources they need to excel academically, emotionally, and physically. By combining nutritious snacks, motivational tools, and practical classroom materials, we create an environment where students can focus on learning without distractions from hunger or lack of encouragement.

This project isn’t just about snacks—it’s about showing students they’re valued and capable of greatness.

How Will These Items Make a Difference?

Growth Mindset Flip Charts:

The Power of Yet! Self-Assessment Cards empower students to reframe challenges as opportunities, fostering perseverance and confidence. Students build resilience, critical for tackling academic and personal hurdles by reflecting on their progress.

Nutritious Snacks:

Healthy Staples (KIND Bars, SkinnyPop, Snyder’s Pretzels): Sustain energy and focus during lessons.

Protein-Rich Snacks (Slim Jims): Prevent midday slumps, keeping students alert.

Hydration (Water Bottles): Improve cognitive function and mood.

Classroom Tools:

Sign Holders: Display motivational quotes and student work, creating an inspiring environment.

Fun Treats (Rice Krispies, Goldfish): Reward effort and build classroom community.

What Makes Our Students Special?

Our middle schoolers are curious, creative, and eager to learn—but many face challenges outside the classroom. They show up ready to grow, even when resources are limited. This project meets them where they are, providing the nutrition to fuel their bodies and the tools to strengthen their minds. By addressing their holistic needs, we help them see that their potential is limitless.

Ms. Lipscomb Northern Middle School Grades 6-8

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus

At this school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. Learn how your donation to this school supports a more equitable education.
