My Students

My students keep getting knocked down but we need to bring them back up. They need physical education and it should be fun for them.

Last year my students, school and community were severely affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Equipment was destroyed along with the locker rooms being taken away to help the community it served as a home base of supplies. Their physical education was greatly affected and now this year the gym is under construction. We have no gym and very limited equipment. Help me bring unity back to my school and put the fun back into Physical Education. This equipment would let us play games outside and get the kids moving.

My Project

The equipment requested is minimal for a school of over 1,000 students. It is not enough but it is a start. Basketballs would not only be used for physical education but for recess as well. The bin especially will help move equipment outside which is crucial right now because their is no gym, locker room or storage closet.

Students need physical education.

It also needs to be fun and educational. We are trying to integrate all subjects into the gym but teaching the core subject is hard enough without any equipment. We really need the help.
