My Students

We are the most diverse school in America according to US News and World Report. Unfortunately, we operate in a cash-strapped district (Philadelphia) that is plagued with funding issues. Our high-performing kids deserve a decent education with all the necessary supplies.

Donations to our school will enable our students to maintain the school's high academic standards and expose them to new and fascinating ideas about the world.

This philosophy course has been a mainstay at the school since 1836, and a donation to help fund the program will go along way to ensuring that our students are able to ask vital critical-thinking questions about the world.

My Project

Donations to this project will make a difference in our students' learning be enabling them to access key philosophical insights written by one of the most interesting philosophers of modern times: Friedrich Nietzsche.

The Genealogy of Morals will improve their lives for the better because analyzing philosophical texts encourages students to ask questions about the world in a critical and engaging way.

Our high school has produced some of the finest civic-minded students in America. Founded in 1836 - the second public high school outside of New England - our school has always had a philosophy class on the class roster. Unfortunately, this year our philosophy teacher retired, and I am afraid that the mainstay philosophy course could retire with him. A donation to our school will help ensure that philosophy is alive and well and our high school.
