Help me provide my students with current event news, information, and interest stories that will help them learn and experience things they may never be exposed to.

The Scholastic News magazine teaches students about current events, exceptional things kids their age are doing, and addresses reading skills at the same time.

I truly believe it helps them become more knowledgeable citizens. I have used Scholastic News Magazine and Technology component for the last 17 years to teach my students reading strategies, expose them to vocabulary, practice comprehension skills, and simply help them understand what is happening in the world. This magazine helps my students think critically about issues and develop opinions and his/her own ideas. I can't imagine my classroom without it.
