Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a community that is filled with students who want to learn and show what they know throughout the school year. They are very fortunate to have supporting teachers who guide them throughout the school day but need some extra support.

My Project

Having this magazine subscription will help my students stay up to date with current events. In our curriculum, we learn about many topics in the areas of both Science and Social Studies through reading and writing.

This magazine subscription has been beneficial in previous years.

Unfortunately it costs a lot of money for the school population that I teach. Having this resource will motivate my students in many different ways both inside the classroom and outside during various homework topics. At home my students can talk about the various topics which helps build their verbal communication skills.
