News Flash 2023-2024!

Help me give my students every opportunity to understand the world. I am incorporating current events on a weekly basis in my classroom. Many students lack world awareness. Scholastic News will help. We look forward to your help.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Reading is important in our everyday lives. The world I’m which we live is important as well. Every day is history. Every moment is a learning opportunity. Learning current events around the world helps students build on their knowledge beyond the classroom. Scholastic News will enable students to make connections to text, the world in which they live, and to themselves. Valuable skills will be taught as we compare American History to our present lives in which we live today. Many students aren’t attentive to the world around them or events happening outside of their world.
