Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Items donated will be used for students to create a fresh new back to school mindset where they can utilize some self-care items. Having a fresh mindset and taking care of oneself encourages reset, clarity and a mind ready to learn! Items will be part of a "self-care" bar where they can choose from various items to help them with their self-care. Students in our program often experience instability and uncertainty in their lives which can be stressful. Learning to de-stress through self-care is an important coping skill we hope to teach to our students so that they can be ready to learn!
