My Project

Whiteboards are a way for students to show their work with a quick response and check for understanding. Paddle whiteboards are good for holding up for a teacher check and regular whiteboards are good for formative assessment without or before sharing.

My students look forward to using whiteboards for responding to questions and sharing their answers.

The whiteboards we currently have are old, marked up and can’t be cleaned. The students need new markers as the old ones dry out or run out of ink. Individual erasers save time compared to sharing regular erasers.

Whiteboards increase student participation and engagement while allowing instant assessment of learning. My students use whiteboards every day for math, literacy, and other subjects. Marked-up whiteboards don’t allow for legible observation of student responses and can frustrate students. New whiteboards and supplies will improve accuracy and confidence.
