Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a STEAM teacher who teaches 12 different classes each week, my students go through many basic supplies every day. Colored paper, pencils, glue and tape are consumable materials that the students in each grade level use in many of their activities and need to be replenished often. As we approach the second half of the school year, I am asking for some materials that we have run out of, or have broken since the beginning of the school year.

Having supplies in the classroom is essential for creating an effective, engaging, and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.

A well-stocked classroom allows teachers like me to provide various materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities, which will enable me to differentiate instruction effectively. A classroom equipped with supplies creates a welcoming atmosphere where students feel prepared and supported, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation.

Overall, having supplies on hand will empower me to create a more engaging, responsive, and effective learning environment that meets the diverse needs of my students.
