My Students

The students in my classroom are a dynamic group of boys and girls in a 2nd grade Self contained class. These students are very ambitious and talented. They come to school eager to learn daily. We are located in a low-income neighborhood. This is an urban community in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn, NY. It is an elementary school serving a population of diverse families. Our families come from many different socioeconomic groups and cultures. We strive to meet the needs of all learners.

My Project

All of my students will be returning to the school building this Fall. Help me to give my students the supplies they need to kick the school year off right.

Cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and safe learning environment, paper/ colored pencils/ markers to bring our projects we will be working on to life and headphones for our interactive learning sessions.

All of these supplies will help for a smooth transition into our "new normal" of learning. I know that these supplies will benefit my students by providing a smooth transition back to school.
