My Project

Each year I try to instill in my students a love of reading. I want them to be able to leave my class with the information I've taught AND a love of literature. This requires me to try to match each student with a genre, author, or book.

Since all of my students are different, I ask them each year what books they would like to read that they haven't been able to.

I also ask them what books they think other students would like that they've read. This results in a lot of different recommendations.

This year, my students have come up with an exhaustive list. I have everything from anime to classic literature, dragons to pirates, and love stories to classic psychology.

Each donation brings my students that much closer to finding the book they will love and another step on the path of life-long readership.
