My Project

Last year my students had the wonderful pleasure of being given a beautiful new rug for our classroom from Schoolgirl Style. This rug truly brightened our room and was a place for students to read, stretch, talk, and relax. Now that we are at a new school, we are hoping to bring that joy to more students.

The classroom rug is a necessity- it is a safe spot in all elementary school classrooms.

This year, my co-teacher and I have been given an amazing opportunity to open the fifth grade classroom at a beautiful new school in Queens! We have begun the classroom set up process and we are hoping to get our students a brand new rug this year.

After seeing how much our class loved the rug we got last year, we hope we can do the same for our class this year!
