My Project

Our students work very hard each year to read one million words, but we often run into the problem of not having enough books to pique their interest or books on individual students' levels. We have a large number of students that come to us reading below grade level which makes them feel unsuccessful as readers. Our teachers have requested more graphic novels so that students who are not as high performing can still succeed and learn to see themselves as readers. Please help us build our diverse classroom libraries!
