My Project

My students are hard at work growing their emotional self-regulation skills. This year their goals are to boost confidence in themselves when faced with social interactions. My students also have individual needs in order to stay on task during lessons and assignments throughout the day.

Having toys, rings, gadgets, and other prizes they can work for motivates them, helps them stay on task, and encourages them to stay calm!

Sensory toys and other fidgets make my students feel calm in uncomfortable encounters. Students are encouraged to keep a fidget toy in their pocket during the day and squeeze it or play with it when they are experiencing anxiety or need a soothing distraction. The products I have selected will help my students by offering them the chance to succeed both academically and socially!
