Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a teacher on the southwest side of Chicago. While the school year is ending, I am already thinking of next school year's students and lessons. While I always teach ELA, my administration has been known to switch upgrade levels regularly, and usually in August.

I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase resources and activities for my incoming students.

This will allow me the flexibility and convenience to have lesson plans for any grade level assigned to me, at a moment's notice. Teachers Pay Teachers is a site where teachers publish their lessons for other teachers to purchase and use. It is a great opportunity not only for teachers to support one another, but it is a great way to find subject-based lessons that are current and recommended. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will significantly help with adequate planning and benefit my students to keep my curriculum fresh and elevate some stress when it comes to planning for a new year, new grade level, and possibly new content.
