My Project

Everyone should have the opportunity to discover the world despite their race and ethnicity. However, some of my students don't get the access to museums due to having long-distance parents or busy parents.

As a Chinese dual language class, we made our resolution for the Lunar New Year.

We wish to be more aware of the people and environment around us. Since the wildfires arise, my students are asking questions and making wonderings about the natural environment. We hope to understand our world better so that we would offer help in any way we can.

Therefore, I am requesting materials that would enhance my students' learning. The Science Instant Learning Centers that I am requesting would enrich the discovery center so that my students' learning will be enhanced. They will learn more about natural materials. With the loose parts STEM kit, my students will get new inspirations when they interact with each other in the center.

Students will be able to create new things while building up their counting and geometry skills with those loose parts. They can also explore about weight and balancing with the balancing scale. The tabletop fountain with natural river rocks and multi-coloured lights would help my students make new wonderings. The mirror blocks, rocks collection and the self portrait mirror will let students explore about reflection and refraction.
