My Project

I'm requesting new hi-lo books, which are high interest, lower reading level books for my students for the new school year. Many of my students are reluctant readers, but I have found that hi-lo books make all the difference! The books I'm requesting all deal with topics that are relevant and interesting for teens with shorter chapters and lower lexile levels to help them increase their reading confidence and comprehension skills. These books will help my students have lots of choices for our daily independent reading time.

Many of my students have never read an entire book when they enter my classroom, and my goal is to change that by the time they leave my room at the end of the year.

With your help, I'll be that much closer to achieving my goal!
