Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a large Latinx population at a school with over 1,000 students. My students love to come to school and connecting with their friends. They love participating in math class, knowing they have a second home in my classroom but also love having fun!

My Project

We are halfway through our academic year. Our classroom is running low on our everyday supplies like dry erase markers, permanent markes, regular markers. We clearly love our markers. The small extra details that make our learning a little brighter, like colored copy paper to print our notes on. Glue sticks to paste them in our Math spiral. And lamination sheets that will help preserve our learning.

My students are used to coming to my classroom and having all of these supplies accessible to them.

It's time for a little classroom community supply restock.
