it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Students are constantly evolving as are their interests. I strive to create a classroom library that can keep up with their creative minds and provide a variety of books that supports the individual needs of each of my students.
These new books will help encourage my students' love of reading while also allowing them to read independently at their own grade level.
Having the ability to choose books that interest them will be beneficial in creating a healthy interest in reading and independent learning. By providing a variety of books in my classroom library to choose from, it encourages my student's autonomy and independence. The scanner will be used to help keep track of and maintain our classroom library while also teaching students responsibility for the books.
