Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! The things listed such as the carpet will help improve my students learning that way they can sit down and be with the teacher close to wear we can do activities together. The lamp and lights will give the classroom a warm bright look as i don't have windows in my classroom. The bean bags will help my students comfortably do their activities and for some students they either learn better or do work in a comfortable setting from what i've experienced being in a classroom. My goal is to make sure my students are happy with their environment and are comfortable. My students love the lights and enjoy a calm mood setting. I am a Spanish specials teacher so when they come in they always assume they're there for just fun and although I love that they set that expectation for specials I am also wanting to help with other subjects such as math, science, social studies and reading. It can be too much for them and I believe that setting the classroom to how I want it will brighten their moods and they'll want to come in and learn. The bookshelf will give my students the opportunity to pick a book of their choosing and will have easy access at any time. All other things listed are materials I would like to have in the classroom either supplies, storage and decorations and books for them to read in Spanish. I have english books as well but would like to have books in a different language.
