My Project

This year we plan to attend the district MPA festival competitions for concert band as well as Solo & Ensemble Festival and our traditional Universal trip to perform at the Music USA Festival in Orlando, Florida. Our classroom needs many new instruments, but none are as immediately needed as a new full-sized concert tuba.

Our classroom tuba inventory needs an upgrade and this tuba is exactly what we need to allow more students the opportunity to play the tuba.

We still need more practice tubas for students to have instruments at home for practice and assignments, but we need this one for the classroom and for performances. Two students were interested in learning the tuba this year, but we weren't able to provide them a practice instrument as well needed to keep one in the band room.

Tubas are frequently the most expensive instrument in the band room, and even this item falls under the more "affordable" category for tubas. This usually comes as a surprise for parents and school administrators, but it's a reality we all have to face as people who love band music and want the best for our students.
