Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a new teacher who has the pleasure of working with TK students this fall. I want to be prepared to give my students the very best opportunity to have a successful school year. My goal is to be as prepared as possible and create a safe, organized, and exciting classroom environment where my students have fun and love coming to school. In order for this to happen, I am in dire need of all the basic organizational systems that teaching requires that are not provided by our school. My students will come into the school year as 4-year-olds and I would love to give them a positive foundation. Our first unit is All About Me. My students will start the school year with little or no school experience and I will have to show them how to strengthen their fine motor skills by implementing fun and exciting activities for them to do so. Thank you so much for helping me and my students have a great beginning of the school year.
