This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of the prep time, I create new bilingual materials for my students. My 2014 MacBook Pro has stopped working propperly. The truth is that it is the object that I have taken the most advantage of these years of teaching. The battery only lasts about 10 minutes without being connected to the plug. It's very frustrating that I can't use a laptop because I have to keep it plugged in all the time. The camera doesn't work anymore either, so I can't do Zoom conferences with parents properly. It also runs very slowly, and I spend a lot of time waiting to use the different apps I have to create materials.
Technology provides diverse methods to meet differentiated instruction and experiences to target individual needs and ensure success in education.
I love making new materials for each didactic unit. I use a lot of Mac-specific programs, especially Keynote. I love being able also to create a variety of digital resources to make learning more fun and exciting for my students. My students will be able to benefit from this new acquisition because they will be able to enjoy adapted and motivating learning resources, all of them created by me with the APPs and software that Apple offers, and that no other brand offers.
I have been using the iOS operating system for many years and the truth is that the Windows system is totally unknown to me right now.
