Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am creating this project as a new first year teacher. In my classroom, I have a rotating schedule of special education students in a 6:1:1 setting. The purpose of this project is to create more academic and working opportunities for each of my students to grow and develop skills whenever they enter my classroom. I have tried my best to fund my classroom but it is much more than I can handle on my own.

This project is created to provide academic needs for all of my students.

From reading, math, telling time, handling money, work/life skills such as cleaning, and even behavior management. Not only will these books, manipulatives, and cleaning supplies help my students achieve learning goals, they will also help them become more independent in their tasks and develop skills that will help them in and out of the classroom.

Thank you so much for your help, I look forward to a long career as a teacher and helping all of my students along the way.
