My Project

During Guided Reading I want the kids to feel the adventure of a good characters, plot twists, imaginative settings and the rush of the unexpected.

Every students deserves to find that one book they just can't put down.

With the recent pandemic I am finding more students struggling to connect with paperback books than before. I want to bring back the love for a fresh new book, curling up to curled corners and bended spines and they fall in love with the story in their very hands.

Harry Potter, Divergent, and Hunger Games along with other series help to create this high level of interest that will keep them reading.
