My Students

My students are an amazing group of third graders. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth grade school located in rural California. It houses 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.

Our school has a strong academic culture.

I want to maintain our strength in this area by continuing to provide materials to enrich my students' experiences.

My Project

In January of 2013 our school suffered a fire. I lost my entire classroom. We have been housed for the last two school years in portables while our new building is being built. The building is scheduled to be finished over Christmas break.

My students needs bulletin board decorations, Ziploc baggies, book bins, soap and a diffuser and oils.

All of these items will be used to help rebuild our classroom. The bulletin board decorations will be used to make a warm and inviting classroom. The soap will be used at our new sink to keep our hands and art supplies clean. The Ziploc baggies and book bins will be used to keep our space organized. The oil and diffusers will be used to create a nice, calm and good smelling environment.
