Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders this year are working hard and learning so much in our classroom community! They are growing as readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists. They love our center games and activities, as well as working independently using the books and tools in our classroom. All this hard work requires lots of materials and places to organize and store those supplies. Many of the bins we currently have are well-loved after many years and ready to be replaced.

Before the new year, I would love to reorganize many of our classroom supplies and center materials in new quality storage bins that will last for many years to come.

This will allow my students to find and access the materials they need independently. It will also contribute to the smooth functioning of our classroom, as I am able to create and switch out activities for my students quickly and easily. Organization is such an important part of a happy and productive learning environment. I can't wait to see the difference it makes as we head into the second half of the 2024-2025 school year!
