My Project

This year I am starting a STEM class for every grade level at our school. The goal of this class is to encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership skills, and a love of learning that will follow students past elementary school. We will focus on a variety of science, math, and technology/engineering concepts, that may be harder to understand without hands-on models.

In STEM, every student is a maker.

With the items from this list, students will get a chance to dive deeper into the concepts they are learning in their regular classrooms. Students will be able to build models using Makedo cardboard tools, learn coding with sphere bots, and complete building challenges using the variety of building bricks, magnetic tiles, and building bars.

These concepts will transition to real-world scenarios that allow students to problem-solve and keep their minds learning!
