Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a speech therapist that works with children with special needs such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and multiple learning impairments. Our children are in need of new activities that provide enhanced support to their learning.

In this project, I have selected 3 different speech therapy activities that will help target the communication needs of our children.

The "Super Duper His, Her, & Their" cards will help me teach our students to use possessive pronouns. The "What's Going On Here? Conversation Cards" will help me teach my students to have engaging conversations with peers and adults. The "Roll Race Activity Ramp" will help me teach our preschoolers different colors in a way that is fun and interactive. Each item helps me to create a more enriching learning environment for our kids.
