Hello, I am a new Special Education Teacher. I am working with students in Pre-K to 3rd. My classroom is a blank canvas, I would love to buy so many things for my students but can not buy everything at once. I would like to have the essentials for my calming Corner. I will be adding things of my own and would love your help with the items listed.
I had the opportunity to work with young students last year, and was able to see how important a calming corner is.
There is a need for a calming corner in every classroom, but most especially in the classroom of the SPED resource teacher.
My classroom will be the safe place where all of my students will be able to get time off, most especially my students that are emotionally disturbed. I appreciate all of your help.
