Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Perseverance is not a long race. It is many short races one after another." W. Elliot said. Today, children face many reading challenges, and between those challenges I am often amazed by their enthusiasm to learn and desire to succeed.

I teach a group of students with specific learning disabilities from grades 3 to 6.

Their reading levels are different and each students' needs are very challenging, but they are very bright and with daily practice they can succeed and meet their specific goals.

My Project

I have reviewed many resources to boost my students' reading fluency and reading comprehension, and I believe the Evan Moore' Daily Reading Warmups books could highly benefit my students through daily exercises on various skills and strategies. These books are excellent as a daily reading practice and as a tool for test skills preparation.

Special needs students in my class need your support.

They need to know that we believe in their efforts and abilities to succeed. Help me help my students succeed through daily reading practice. Help me empower them!
