Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year, I will be teaching in a dual language classroom where my students are learning Spanish. I want to create a classroom library that will allow them to learn and practice reading in Spanish.

My students are eager and excited to learn a new language and develop skills that will take them one step closer to being fluent in Spanish.

In order to achieve this goal, I have to give my students access to books that are in Spanish. With your support, I will be able to create a Spanish Library in our classroom, where students can have variety, choice and will allow them to take books home to practice more.
