Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The new school year is about to start and many parents in our school are struggling to find the money to purchase the district-required school uniform. Uniforms aren't cheap and kids keep growing. Hand-me-downs are normal for those who have siblings or cousins, but year after year I see children arrive for the first day of school in a shirt that should have been put in the rag bin.

Give the students at my school dignity and pride on their first day of the new school year.

Provide them with the brand new shirt that doesn't have stains, holes, or frayed edges. Give them a shirt that fits! Give them that sense of self-worth that is so important to their academic success!
