My Students

My instrumental music students are in Grades 6-8 and rehearse in a Concert Band setting. They are ethnically diverse and come from several towns on the South Shore of Staten Island. My students enjoy playing Jazz, Classical, Rock, and Popular Music in Concert Band. We perform in many events during the year, including a Winter Concert, Spring Concert, fundraisers, and outdoor Alumni Events at our school on Staten Island NY. My students constantly use sheet music to rehearse and perform pieces of music from all genres such as movie music, popular music, jazz, classical and music of various cultures.

My Project

This sheet music will have a direct impact on hundreds/thousands of students by providing them with engaging and exciting new sheet music. They will perform these pieces of music in hundreds of hours of rehearsals as well as in concert performances.

I like ordering a combination of current, popular music as well as traditional music that way my students are exposed to both sides of music history.

I want them to become well-rounded and exposed to a various spectrum of music.

After contributing this project, you can see the direct impact on my students by attending a concert performance and seeing how truly excited my students are to perform.
