Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thanks in advance for donating towards this important project.

This year the focus in our Literacy department is fostering a love of reading for all of our scholars.

In order to fulfill this goal, I need books, but not just any books, I need engaging books that students will enjoy. I want students to read books according to their interest.

The books I selected in this project, are books that students have expressed an interest to read. These books are also sequels to the novel "Front desk"that we read this semester and also for the novel "Amari and the Night brothers, which we will read next semester. Even former students return to ask for copies of these books because they enjoyed the books so much. I also included individual book displays to be placed around the classroom to display new books. I also included a charging port for students to charge their computers when needed.

I want my students to immerse in the world of reading and become avid readers. Thanks in advance for helping make this project a reality:)
