My Students

When you walk into my classroom, you will see creative and innovative students. My classroom motto is, "It's okay to think outside the box." Students are growing up in our ever-changing world and need the important chance to think freely in multiple and varied ways.

Thinking outside of the box is not something that every teacher enjoys, but the reality is that not all students fit inside the box.

My classroom is a safe haven for all students to learn.

My Project

Kravitz Ph.D. (2009), on the British Medical Journal, says that even if children exercise in the morning or evening, but sit the rest of the day at a desk, rarely getting up, they would be at risk for significant and unhealthy blood vessel changes along with heart problems.

Brain research also confirms that physical activity including moving, stretching, and walking, can actually enhance the learning process.

Flexible seating gives students a chance to learn in the environment that bests suits them. These news chairs would be an added addition to the classroom and would allow the students to have another seating option.
