This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember how it felt to be 4 years old and have so many questions about the world around you? Do you remember the readiness and hunger you had for knowledge in your early childhood years? That's the way my students feel now, they yearn to learn!

I teach 18 wonderful Pre-K students in a high need school.

They have so many questions everyday about how the world works. I hear the word "Why?" about 100 times a day and I love it! I am here to help them explore and learn why things happen. All I need is more hands-on, age appropriate materials for the children to learn new science concepts.

My Project

With a new curriculum and new standards for the children, comes a need for new science materials. Unfortunately due to severe budget cuts, we have to rely on generous donors like you to help our children get the materials they need. My students need new science books, an early childhood microscope, slides, gears to learn physics, a snow set to study weather, giant test tubes, a solar system magnet display, gardening tools, a kit to learn about growing plants, and other science materials. Having these materials will make learning science fun and will allow the children to answer their own questions through hands on experiments which is what a scientist does!

My students can be scientists who will learn about the world all around them if you donate to our class.

The children will be so excited and happy to have new science materials and they will gain so much knowledge from it all thanks to you! Please donate to our class. Thank you!
